Han’s character issoftlyspokenandatfirstshe appearsto be perfectlynormal.Asthe storygoeson
youdiscoverherfascinationwithfire,constantlyplayingwithlighters.She is oftensatonherown,
isolatingherself fromthe group.Alektakesaslightfondnesstoher,admiringhergentleways
despite the factthattheycounteracthis own.
ETHAN – Thomas Sears,24
Ethan has a fascinationwithsharpthings.He alwaysjokes,wavingaroundknivesandthreatening
others.He is a bad influence onAlek,oftenconvincinghimtocommitthe more offensive of crimes.
AlthoughAlekavoidshischaracter,he isone of the onlyto believe the truthof the uprising,being
useful inthe interrogationof Storm.He may be violent,buthe seesthe unconsciousgoodinAlek.
BLAKE – FinianClarke
Blake isalwaysshownwithhiscamera.He ensurestotake a picture of everything:leavingoutno
detail.He findshimself gravitatingtowardsstrangers,becomingobsessivewithcapturingtheirlives.
It startedout beingpassers-bybeforehe beginstopaymore attentiontohissubjects.He often
straysfrom the group,hidinginthe bushesof gardensandsnappinghissubject’sreal lifeininvasive
detail.Whilstcommittingoffense,Blakedoesn’tsee itthisway,thinkinghe isonlyadvancinghisart.
Whenfinallycaught,Blake isarrestedinfrontof the groupscreamingand fighting.Hisfate stays
unknowntothe audience andothercharacters.
DIZZ – Izzy Mayes,17
Izzy’scharacter isnot shownwheninherconsciousmind,buthercharacter shownisaggressive
withouttakingaction.She isfunlovingandgetsthrillsoff of adrenalineandbreakingthe rules.
Whilstshe doesnotcommitany crimes,she alwayscanbe foundinthe background,neverhelping
the victimand alwaysfleeingthe scene.
STORM– Trin Wideman,17
A darkerand more aggressive character.Herreal character isnot shownbuther unconscious
presence isveryviolent,despiteactionactuallybeingseenonscreen.WhenAlektriestoconvince
the group of what ishappening,she isclearlyuninterestedandthinkslowlyof him.The character
becomesdarkerandmore aggressive throughoutthe story.
MILES- MilesBeauliousedsokfjree,18
Miles’fingerstwitchwithanticipationwhenenteringanystore.He bringsnomoneyand hisonly
intentisto steal.Itbeginswithgum;thenfoods;thenalcohol.One nighthe managesfireworks,
2. settingthemoff endingwithagiantfire (secretlyassistedbyHan).He drinksconstantly,never
listeningtothe othersaroundhimand therefore beingarecklesscharacter.
BLAKES– JeremySealey,55
Blakesisa sophisticatedandcalmcharacter,despite hisevilintentions.He isof extreme intelligence,
creatingthe app and organisation.He isa leaderandspeakswithconfidence,lookingdownonhis
victims.He staysloyal to histeam,nevernaminganyothermembers,buthimbeingoverthrownis
the defeatof the uprising.Wheninvestigatedbythe authorities,itisrevealedthat he isnotin a sane
state of mind,endingupina mental hospital untilthe dayhe dies.
