3. Identifying Research Questions: They need to be interesting in order to address current
issues: a) Feasibility (knowing if something is possible, understanding limitations), b)
Research Questions and Hypotheses: Research questions are the questions for which
answers are being sought. The hypotheses are based on observations or on what the
literature suggests the answers might be. c) Replication, if results of a particular study
can’t be repeated, validity is put into doubt.
