Changes from Audience
Feedback
Megan O’Meara
Original :
Although I liked the music video and CD image I felt this gave it a more RnB feel rather than
indie. Also my audience picked up that the image didn’t fit within the poster and didn’t follow
continuity editing therefore I made changes.
Changes:
I used this image from my ancillary text photos I took
while filming and used Photoshop to edit it to fit within
my music video DVD. I used the CD from one of my
drafts pf my digi-pak and used that as my CD. It was from
the music video which made it fit within the continuity
I used the quick selection tool to deleted the
background and leave me with just the white
flowers. I used this image as the flowers where in
a curve shape meaning the already fitted with the
CD curve
Changes:
I then transferred the flowers onto the digi-pak and filled the
background black to fit with the house theme of white and
black. After I fitted the image to the correct format and size by
using the transform tool I copied the layer and pasted it and
again I used the transform tool to flip it 180 degrees so it is in
the same position but on the opposite side.
After making my changes what my audience put forward I am
now happy that my product fits with the audience expectations,
is visually pleasing and fits within conventions. I have a two
colour theme and have the same artist and costume on all of my
products meaning they all tie in as one.
Final changes/ digi-pak:
