Meet with faculty frequently
Upcoming deadline for course completion—4/30/2015
The push to finish is on, so if you need content, let the group know so we can scour our campuses, ask other non-CHAMP faculty if they would be willing to share, or have Pete and I look for OER.
Try to meet with your course faculty developers at least bi-weekly if not weekly to make sure everyone is on track. Try to set a reasonable goal to complete at least 1 module (for every course still in development) every 2 weeks—This time line will take you into the early part of April to finish a 4 module course…..factor this into your meeting schedule
Why this is important?
We expect a grant monitoring visit soon!

CC BY licensing is VERY important. We do not publish anything we create with CHAMP grant funds under any other license but CC BY.
Make sure everyone on your team knows all items produced or touched by grant funds need to have a CC BY license and DOL disclaimer—acceptable answers include “I give my ID what I produce and she takes care of the CC BY license and DOL disclaimer and gives it back to me” Or here is what I put on anything I send out. (this assumes you have given the person a CC BY license and DOL disclaimer
Remember it is important it is your responsibility to ensure everyone who is producing CHAMP grant funded material to have a either a general CC BY license and DOL disclaimer, or one tailored just for them….AND they are actually using it on any and all material produced with grant funds, which includes anything created by a person who is being paid with grant funds.
A repeat if asked about CC BY/DOL disclaimers on course material-- We have the CC BY license, attribution and DOL disclaimer as a news announcement and a page in the content of all CHAMP courses.
The CHEO-CHAMP ID meeting cancelled ?????
