Greece had many influential cultural aspects such as myths, rituals, oracles, fables, oral traditions, and forms of drama to explain their beliefs and pass down stories. They also developed important fields like philosophy through Sophists, rhetoric, and the Socratic method, established medical practices with the Hippocratic Oath, and had cavalry soldiers. Following Alexander the Great's rule, Greek culture spread during the Hellenistic Era and influential philosophies like Epicureanism and Stoicism emerged. Mathematics also advanced with the study of plane and solid geometry, circumference, and other geometric relationships.
