This document provides an overview of a seminar on Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) for primary teachers in its first year of CLIL projects. The seminar includes 6 sessions from October 2012 to May 2013 to reflect on CLIL theory and practice, share planning examples, and provide guidance on designing CLIL units. Key aims are to foster effective CLIL implementation through collaboration, experience sharing, and innovative teaching approaches. Definitions of CLIL emphasize the joint learning of a subject and foreign language. Data shows growing CLIL provision in Catalan primary and secondary schools as well as increasing numbers of students participating in immersion programs abroad. Resources for CLIL teaching and planning are provided.
