5. Using a LMS system has many benefits for a classroom. LMS’s provide online access from school or home. Students can access homework information, support from classmates or the teacher, and complete and turn in assignments. Online learning is geared towards student centered learning, therefore the teacher acts as a facilitator for the class. Online learning also makes students less intimidated and teachers become more approachable to the students. When students are less intimidated, they are more likely to be open and also learn more due to more participation. Using a LMS allows students to complete work on their own time so that they can continue to work or compete in other activities.
