2. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CAL I
CREDENTIAL AND THE CAL II CREDENTIAL?
CAL I is an introduction to leadership development in the context of Agility.
It is based on objectives from five categories: Agility Context, Agility Purpose,
Agile Organizations, Leadership in the Agility Context, and Change
Leadership. During this 16-hour course, you will develop awareness of Agile
leadership thinking, focus, vision, and behavior. Your CAL I credential is
earned by successfully completing the learning objectives during a CAL I
class.
CAL II complements the leadership development program by advancing your learning
with advanced training, validated practice, personal coaching, and peer learning. In
this online program with more than 50 hours of learning that you can complete at
your own pace, you will have the opportunity to learn and deepen new leadership
strategies, practice what you have learned in your own reality, and interact with
other students and coaches in an environment multinational that share its values and
purpose in the world of Agility.
3. How can I achieve the
Certified Agile
Leadership (CAL II)
and Certified Agile
Leadership Coach
Certifications?
To participate in the CAL II program, you will be asked to propose
your own case study within your work reality.
Over the next several months, you should apply what you learned
during the program to that case study. This hands-on app is critical
on your leadership development journey. Advanced education,
personal coaching, and peer practice will help you improve your
leadership skills and validate your learning by doing. You will
develop and document your learning journey throughout the
program, but it will be your peers in your work reality who validate
your evolution as a leader.
Once you have successfully completed CAL I and CAL II, you will be
eligible to apply for the Certified Agile Leader (CAL) Certification
from the Scrum Alliance. Your development as an Agile leader will
be evaluated by your CAL Educator and once approved, you will be
awarded certification. The "Executive" option gives access to the
additional Certified Agile Leadership Coach certification with
#LeadershipDancefloor.
