The document provides information about Cubism in art and architecture. It describes how Cubism was developed by Picasso and Braque in the early 1900s as a revolutionary painting style that depicted objects from multiple viewpoints simultaneously on a two-dimensional surface. This influenced the development of Cubist architecture, which is characterized by geometric shapes, flat surfaces, and a rejection of traditional perspective. Examples of Cubist buildings discussed include the Chapel of Notre Dame du Haut designed by Le Corbusier, Czech Cubist buildings in Prague, and the Centre Le Corbusier art museum in Zurich.
Gothic architecture developed between the 12th and 16th centuries in Europe. It began in France and spread to other regions, featuring pointed arches, ribbed vaults, flying buttresses, and large stained glass windows. These elements allowed Gothic cathedrals to be much taller and have more windows than previous Romanesque designs, filling the interiors with light. Gothic architecture emphasized vertical lines and a heavenly orientation through its pointed arches and overall tall, slender forms.
The document provides guidance on designing bathrooms and toilets, including considerations for space planning, safety, accessibility, and building codes. It outlines five basic steps for bath design: gathering information, setting priorities, researching products, design and layout, and creating a checklist. Key aspects of bathroom design covered include establishing design goals, analyzing the space, selecting plumbing fixtures, planning for lighting, textures, and mechanical systems, and ensuring adequate clearances and wheelchair accessibility. Standard dimensions and other technical specifications are provided for bathroom components and fixtures.

This 432 square meter Asian restaurant interior concept divides the space into several zones without direct Asian motifs. The main zoning method uses partitions made of a metal frame with translucent glass inserts, softened by light cotton curtains. Color zoning defines the common area with light, vibrant hues and the VIP area with darker tones. Materials include plywood, glass, tiles and engineering boards for floors. Peach is the dominant color used for ceilings, walls and furniture to create a warm, relaxing atmosphere.
The Rietveld Schröder House was commissioned by Mrs. Truus Schröder-Schräder for herself and her three children. The rectilinear design flows seamlessly from the exterior facades composed of planes and lines in varying colors to the interior spaces.

5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD USE SENZURASTYLES
78. 76
Uniform Drying
Sliced veneers that may carry high
moisture content are subjected to a
consistent low temperature drying process
so that an optimum-controlled moisture
level (10% - 12%) is maintained in the
dried veneers
Advantages
• Low temperature dry prevents
corrugation (i.e. waviness/unevenness) in
dried veneers
• Consistent drying maintains the surface
quality of dried veneers, preventing them
from splitting or tearing apart
• No fungus accumulation
• Increases the lustre of the venner
Precise Edge Cutting & Sorting
Edge-cutting of dried veneers is done
through machines equipped with the latest
german technology. Comprehensive and
exhaustive manual sorting is then
undertaken on these veneers
Advantages
• A detailed and accurate sorting
methodology leads to consistency of
design and patterns
• Advanced cutting equipment ensures
accurate edges of dried veneers which in
turn leads to immaculate joining
Seamless joining
Joining of sorted veneers is done by
careful hand-splicing through adhesive
and one-sided paper tape
Advantages
• A thorough hand splicing ensures there
are no gaps or overlaps between the
veneer flitches
• The manual process prevents the
appearance of zig-zag marks on the
surface of the veneer due to heat or
chemical reaction of an automated
process
Impeccable Assembly
A special adhesive is applied to the ply
back and the veneer is pasted on the
same. The assembly is hot pressed to
make an aesthetic decorative veneer of
supreme quality
Advantage
• During assembly, the portion where
adhesive is applied and penetrates
becomes borer and termite resistant*
Excellent Finishing & Inspection
Assembled end-product is then carefully
sanded, followed by a diligent quality
inspection process
Advantages
• Pre-sanded material ensures a smooth
surface such that the polishing can be
suitably done on the veneer surface later
• Pre-sanded veneers significantly save
time and make the final product less
labour-intensive and more cost effective
• A meticulous quality inspection process
ensures a superlative final product
