Kinesiology is the study of human motion based on scientific principles of biomechanics, muscular skeletal anatomy, and neuromuscular physiology. Centripetal force is the force acting on an object in curvilinear motion directed toward the axis of rotation or center of curvature. Centrifugal force is the outward force experienced by an object moving in a circle, which depends on the object's mass, distance from the circle's center, and rotational speed. Both centripetal and centrifugal forces are calculated using an object's mass, velocity, and the radius of its circular path.
