An educational fuzzy temperature control system
Control engineering is one of the important engineering topics taught at many engineering based universities around the world in most undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The control engineering curriculum includes both the classical feedback based control theory and the state space theory. The modern control theory is based on the intelligent control algorithms utilizing the soft computing techniques, such as the fuzzy control theory and neural networks. Laboratory work is an important part of any control engineering course. The problem with the modern control theory laboratories is that it is essential to offer simple experiments to students so that they can easily put the complex theories they have learned in their courses into practice and see and understand the results. This paper describes the design of a low-cost fuzzy based microcontroller temperature control system using off the shelf products. The developed system should provide a low-cost fuzzy control experiment in the laboratories for students studying control engineering.

- 13. The compressors and motor compartment are connected by anitvibrating bearing and leveling supports. They are used to avoid the transmission of the vibrations made by the compressor to all the surrounding frame.
- 14. The chassis is made by hot – galvanised painted steel and it could be placed outdoor. The panels are removable, by suitable key, for maintenance operations.
- 15. The vibration isolating bases are made by a gum vulcanizes to an iron round plate with a central bolt screw for fixing the compressor’s bearing to the beplate of the unit.These vibrations, if they are not reduced, could cause a pipe burst and noise.

- 22. Electric and electronic material are not covered by warranty.
- 23. During the warranty period all the parts with fabrication fault will be substituted.
- 24. Warranty is no more valid if the fault on the refrigerating plants part is due to bad use of the system, or to carelessness of the user.
- 25. Are excluded from warranty:
- 26. damages due to atmospheric disaster or fires;
- 27. damages that are not due to the normal use of the products
- 28. All the items subject to wear and tear.
- 29. Warranty doesn’t cover any responsibility of direct or indirect damage, and every compensation higher than reparation or substitution cost.
- 30. LIFCO/Frigovenetais not responsible of cooled items damage.
- 31. Damages that can occur during unload are excluded from warranty.
