thanks to an organizational makeup that streamlines information
flow while minimizing overhead. That means more money goes
into your project instead of the general contractor’s operating
expenses. Additionally, our estimators and project managers have
construction management or engineering degrees. Their expertise
helps Centerre assure the “right fit” for projects ranging from office
tenant finishes to complex, golf course clubhouses with high-end
finishes and extensive MEP requirements.

painstaking pre-construction examines every detail of every phase
of a project to assure “constructability” and adherence to budget.
Centerre’s pre-construction discipline prevents re-budgeting mid-

quality of work and ability to communicate
effectively with the owner and architect
ensured that the clubhouse was built as it

RENOVATION
DENVER, COLORADO
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project included a 18,000 SF historic renovation.
The scope of work included masonry tuckpointing
and repair, new finishes, new elevators, three new
circulation staircases, new fire service, and new
MEP systems. Site access has presented numerous
challenges. Centerre had no staging areas and limited
delivery times for materials due to a core and shell
project next to the project. Concrete had to be wheel
barreled into the building and bucketed up the steps in
lieu of a concrete pump truck. Drywall deliveries had
to be broken up into several deliveries that impacted
productivity. Because of the size of the building, there
was not enough room to achieve maximum productivity
with our subcontractors. The expedited schedule
required us to stack subcontractors and lose productivity
without jeopardizing a tight construction schedule. The
fabrication and erection of the three internal stair towers
in very tight site conditions was also a challenge. The
shoring and scaffolding made this scope challenging
for both constructablity and the safety for our workers.
This project is listed on the National Register of Historic
Places in compliance with the U.S. Secretary of Interiors
Standards for Rehabilitation.

PRIVATE EXPERIENCE SCOTT’S SUPPLYAND TOOL COMPANY BUILDING HISTORIC RENOVATION DENVER, COLORADO PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project included a 18,000 SF historic renovation. The scope of work included masonry tuckpointing and repair, new finishes, new elevators, three new circulation staircases, new fire service, and new MEP systems. Site access has presented numerous challenges. Centerre had no staging areas and limited delivery times for materials due to a core and shell project next to the project. Concrete had to be wheel barreled into the building and bucketed up the steps in lieu of a concrete pump truck. Drywall deliveries had to be broken up into several deliveries that impacted productivity. Because of the size of the building, there was not enough room to achieve maximum productivity with our subcontractors. The expedited schedule required us to stack subcontractors and lose productivity without jeopardizing a tight construction schedule. The fabrication and erection of the three internal stair towers in very tight site conditions was also a challenge. The shoring and scaffolding made this scope challenging for both constructablity and the safety for our workers. This project is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in compliance with the U.S. Secretary of Interiors Standards for Rehabilitation. BAUR’S BUILDING HISTORIC RENOVATION DENVER, COLORADO PROJECT DESCRIPTION Baur’s Building is a renovation of a historic 27,000 SF downtown Denver landmark. The first floor will be utilized for a new full-service restaurant, and the upper floors will be leased as office space. The turn-of-the- 20th -century building will feature 21st century technology in its office space by utilizing underfloor air distribution of the HVAC. The system will provided higher indoor air quality for future tenants, reduced energy consumption, and provide significant improvements in terms of flexibility by combining all major power, voice, and data cabling into an easily accessible service plenum under the raised floor. Asbestos abatement was also included in project scope of work.
