Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

CDA Dagupan Participates in the Annual KBP's Oplan Broadcastreeing Event
1. CDA Dagupan Participates in the Annual
KBP’s Oplan Broadcastreeing Event
San Fabian, Pangasinan. The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP)
led the annual simultaneous and nationwide tree planting activity called “Oplan
Broadcastreeing” last August 6, 2016. The CDA Dagupan Extension Office was among
the various National Government Agencies and Non Government Organization that
responded to the invitation of KBP. Various cooperatives in San Fabian led by Ms.
Mylene M. Mazo, PCDS Pangasinan namely: San Fabian PCWI MPC, Aramal Tocok
FFF MPC, Angio-Taculit MPC, CENTRO MPC, Anonang Water District Cooperative,
San Fabian PWDD’s Consumer Cooperative and San Fabian Golden MPC likewise
participating in the mangrove planting.
The OPAG representive emphasize that trees play such an important role
in our environment. They absorb harmful carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere
and produce the oxygen we all need to breathe. Their roots prevent erosion by
holding the soil intact and filter water by removing pollutants. With the reality of
increasingly unpredictable weather patterns and more frequent and violent
storms/floods, increasing tree cover to prevent devastating soil erosion has never
been more important On the other hand, the CENRO staff demonstrated how to
plant mangrove or bakawan in local dialect.
CDA Dagupan Staff led by RD Jo B. Bitonio, ARD Eve Muñez and staff with
KBP Representative
2. Each participant was requested to plant three bakawan (mangrove). All in
all, the CDA and the cooperatives in San Fabian planted almost 200 plants. This
is the 2nd
year that CDA participated in the KBP’s annual tree planting program.
The CDA as well as the cooperatives are promoter of building communities
through environmental projects. This is in consonance with Cooperative
Principle No. 6 which is “concern for Community” and the CDA’s road map of
advocating 4Ps which stands for People, Planet, Prosperity and Peace.
