The document summarizes a proposed interlocal agreement between the City of Alamo Heights and the Alamo Heights Independent School District (AHISD) to establish a School Resource Officer (SRO) program. The superintendents of AHISD expressed concerns about security on the open high school campus and asked the city to consider providing an SRO. If approved, the agreement would take effect on October 1, 2018 and share costs between AHISD (75%) and the city (25%) to fund one new police officer position as the SRO through June 2021. The SRO would enhance security for students and staff while allowing the city and school district to jointly provide public safety services as authorized.

Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.
