CCC is a subsidiary of HFG that specializes in packaging for fresh and spent catalysts. They have service centers in Asia that store close to 1000 stainless steel bins to support refineries and offshore operations. CCC bins are more efficient than drums for handling catalysts as they reduce steps, turnaround time, labor, and waste. The bins are UN11A/X approved for transporting class 4.2 dangerous goods by road, rail, and sea. CCC works with refineries in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand to provide bins and assist with catalyst logistics.
3. CCC Asia (Who Are We?)
3
Introduction:
CCC is a subsidiary business unit of Hoover Ferguson Group
(HFG) specializing in IBCs, containers and all forms of
packagings for fresh and spent catalysts.
CCC Asia has been supporting Petroleum/Petrochemical
Refineries and Offshore platforms in their Reactor shutdown for
the past 15 years
CCC Asia work closely with Metal Reclaimers, Disposal
Companies, Catalyst Handlers and Fresh Catalyst
Manufacturers.
We have Service Centres located in Singapore, Thailand and
Korea storing our inventory of close to 1000 Bins to support all
the refineries and offshore operations in Asia. Globally, we have
a fleet of 30,000 CCC Bins on standby.
We supply CCC 2m3 Stainless Steel Bins with UN11A/X
approval to refineries and assist refineries to handle the entire
logistics chain as a value-added service.

5. Why Use CCC Bins?
5
ccc
• Efficient handling of fresh or spent catalyst against conventional drums and bags.
• 1 catalyst bin = 10 drums
(Lesser open/close actions)
• Quicker Turnaround/Change-out/Restart of reactor (Every delayed day is $1 Million lost in potential)
• Lesser Manpower required
(Forklift enabled)
• Better Safety Enhancement
(Less injury to work force)
• Keep Refinery tidy and house-keeping
(Stacked up, minimize space usage, neat and tidy)
• Keeping our Environment Green. Bins are cleaned professional and reused after usage
(Minimized wastage)
• Bins are sealed once unloaded in. Safe to store in worksite and approved for vessel shipment to any
country for metal reclaiming or disposal. (UN 11A/X Approved)

As environmental awareness increase over Asia Pacific, as well as the rest of the world, our
Catalyst-Bin pooling systems ensure minimum demand on these scarce environmental
resources.
With the use of the Catalyst-Bins, your refinery has one less environmental worry.
Catalyst-Bins avoids the associated disposal costs of single trip packaging waste, which
often stay behind at the refinery for your disposal.

Catalyst & Chemical Containers supplies Catalyst-Bins to the Petroleum Refining, Gas
Processing and Petrochemical Industries which are approved for road, rail and sea transport
of dangerous goods in class 4.2
Spent hydrotreating catalyst, which is mostly classified as UN 3190, falls in this dangerous
goods class 4.2
Typically spent hydrotreating catalysts are classified as self heating solids, which in turn, are
classified under the packaging group II or III
CHEP Catalyst-Bins have a UN 11 A/X approval
UN = United Nations
11 = IBC for solids
A = IBC made of steel
X = Approved packaging type X, Y, (I,II and III)
All individual CCC Catalyst-Bins are maintained and pressure tested to comply to the
international road and rail regulations (ADR/VLG). As part of the regulation, all CCC Bins
require an affixed data plate where most Catalyst-Bin information can be found. A lift test on
the Catalyst-Bin is part of the approval, and has been tested on two times the maximum gross
weight of the Catalyst-Bin.
