The City Council considered approving Change Order #15 for $167,128 to repair a pedestrian bridge west of Abe Street. The repair cost less than full replacement and could be completed sooner in mid-September versus mid-October for replacement. While replacement would have a 10-year warranty versus 1-year for repair, the expected lifespan of both options was 50 years. Staff was also looking into filing an insurance claim for the original bridge installation.
