Learners will be motivated to read by
the use of songs and chants. These
songs are related to the concept of
reading.
Also, the songs and chants used were
the songs tackled in music such as
“counting songs, greeting songs,
etc”. Thus, this NRP is integrated in
MUSIC from MAPEH.
Learners were instructed to sing “Ako,
Ikaw, Tayo ay isang Komunidad”.
Also, each learner were instructed to
remember the lesson in MTB which is
“panghalip”. Thus, this peace and values
education is integrated in MTB subject.
Aside from MTB, AP is also correlated
since one of the topic from this subject is
The teacher motivates the learner by
a game, in which learners will point
their body parts quickly as the
teacher instructs them to point. For
example, the teacher will say head
and the learners will quickly point
their heads. Head, shoulder, knees!
This health education is an
integration of PE subject (topic:
Locomotor and Nonlocomotor)

skills of the person shown in
the picture.
• Write the letter of your answer on
a clean sheet of paper.
2. “the connection of the family in each
community”
whereby learners quickly move in
the game, it is an example of
Locomotor Action.
This is an integration from ENGLISH
subject (action words)
B. Concept Exploration
Before the storytelling, the teacher
will ask the learners about the things
to remember in story-telling time.
The teacher reads the story
afterward the teacher can also guide
the learners to read a few sentences
from the story.
For fast readers, the teacher can let
them read on their own.
Also, the learners who brought their
books with them were instructed to
read some sentences from the book.
A short story was given by the teacher so
that learners would be motivated to learn
the themes.
The story was explained well by the
teacher, and the teacher highlighted the
value of being a good neighbor.
A photo was shown for a good flow
of the discussion.
Afterwards, the teacher discusses
the different body parts and the
different body parts of girls and
boys.
The teacher explained the sexual
reproductive parts of our body.
Ask the following questions:

2. Alin sa mga kasanayang ito ang
gusto mong taglayin? Bakit?
3. Ano ang pakiramdam ng
pagtuklas ng bagong kasanayan?
4. Ano ang ilang paraan para
makatuklas ng bagong kasanayan?
3. The teacher can also let the learners
experience role-play activities where
each learner can imitate what the
characters in the story do.
C. Valuing/ Wrap-up
Teacher ask questions about
the reading experience. And ask the
following questions too:
Sino ang bida sa istorya? Naranasan
niyo na rin bang sumali sa isang
paligsahan? Ikwento mo ang inyong
karanasan.
Natalo ba si Pepay sa kanyang unang
pag lahok?
Bakit kaya siya natalo?
Ano ang aral na natutunan mo mula
sa istorya?
Teacher asked question regarding the
story and also the integration of FILIPINO
