Parametric
Architecture :
Yas Hotel
Abu Dhabi
Parametric design :
Parametric design is a process where we input design 'parameters ' into a design tool
 It combines aesthetics with efficiency
 It accelerates design ideas
 Allows a complex design process
Yas hotel
• Location : Abu Dhabi ,United Arab Emirates
• Architect : Asymptote architects
Asymptote architects designed Yas hotel embodying
various key influences :
• Aesthetics and forms associated with speed
• Movement and spectacle to the artistry
• Geometries forming the basis of Islamic art and craft
traditions
Features :
• Grid shell façade featuring 5000 individually lit angled glass panels .
• Doubly curved 40 m bridge on two levels enclosing 980 sq.m interior space .
• First hotel in the world to have Formula 1 race circuit built around it.
