BODEGAS LA CASA DE LÚCULO
La Casa de Lúculo winery is located in
Mendigorría, Navarra. They work with small
batches of selected grapes to create their
signature wines of Jardín de Lúculo and Jardín
de Lúculo Los Bohemios, always with the
indigenous grape from Navarra: the Garnacha.
Its origin starts with the winemaker Juan Glaria
in 2004 . After five years of close collaboration in
exports, in 2013 the winery became part of our
team at Axial Vinos, initiating a new stage in
the history of Bodegas La Casa de Lúculo.

D.O. NAVARRA
Navarra DO is characterized by its variety of climates.
It’s situated between a sub-humid zone to the north and an arid
zone to the south, and the rainfall is variable falling between
470mm and 760mm.
The soils generally consist of loam over gravel with limestone/chalk
bedrock that is excellent for vines.
Vineyards and grapes
The vineyards are located in the North of Spain, between
the Pyrenees and the Ebro River Valley.
The Winery experiments with different wines to produce
a rich variety.
Garnacha has become a selected grape. This wine strain is
a survival. It faces hostile climate conditions such as
dryness, sun and the wind.

Rosado
Exquisite raspberry coloured rosé wine with aromas of fresh and
exotic red fruits. On the palate it is fine and delicate, with a touch of
cherries enhanced by the complex aniseed flavour. This is truly a
lovely expression of high-quality Grenache.
Try it with seafood paella or roasted peppers like “Piquillos” from
Navarra.
Serve at 8-10 º C.

Tinto
Dark ruby red Garnacha wine. This soft fruity elegant wine presents
dense aromas of red berry fruit that combines nicely with floral notes
of violet. The fruit follows through to the palate with dark berry jam
flavors and a touch of spices. The delightfully lush mid-palate segues
beautifully into a long, well balanced finish.
Try it with lamb, pizza, pasta or tapas.
Serve at 16ºC.-18ºC.

Tinto
Intense red colour bordering on violet, elegant to the nose, with
notes of violets and orange peel, in which the fruit is nuanced by the
oak without losing its spark, only increasing its balance and
complexity. Fresh, sweetish to the mouth and pleasant to the palate
owing to its freshness and its well-integrated nuances of oak, it
invites us to continue drinking and to enjoy.
A great pair to lamb, game, grilled meats and pasta dishes with
tomato based sauces.
