administrator.
• Time on task, which includes being
present, is essential for making good

• Go directly to your desk and take
out your materials.
• Take out homework and turn it in.
• Sit quietly, review notes, and be
prepared for instruction to begin.
• Once the teacher begins lecturing,

7. • It is the students responsibility to ask
for makeup work upon returning
from absences.
• Excused absences, tardies, or
dismissals will be allowed to earn
100% credit if work is completed
within five days.
• Make-up tests will be given before
school, between 7:00-8:00 am unless
instructed otherwise.
• If you should have questions about
the make-up work, wait until the end
of class to ask.

8. In order to asses students understanding of units taught, students will be given
weekly quizzes, chapter/objective tests, classwork, homework and projects.
Rubrics will be used in the grading of assigned projects.
