The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was established in 1939 and has grown to include over 200 battalions and various training institutions. Candidates must meet certain education requirements for different roles within the CRPF, such as a graduation requirement for the positions of Assistant Commandant and Sub Inspector, and a +2 qualification for Assistant Sub Inspector along with shorthand skills. Constable positions require a minimum of SSLC/Matriculation. The CRPF aims to protect the internal security of India and has over 200,000 personnel serving the country.

became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment
of the CRPF Act on 28th December 1949. It has
completed 60 years of glorious history. The Force has
grown into a big organization with 231 Bn, (including
200 executive Bns, 4 Mahila Bns, 10 RAF Bns, 10 CoBRA
Bns, 2 DM (NDRF) Bns, 5 Signal Bns and 1 Special Duty
Group), 41Group Centres, 11 Training Institutions, 2
CWS, 7 AWS, 3 SWS, 4 Composite Hospitals of 100 bed
