1. 2009 Tech Conference Program
This program was designed in one week. I was given the
information as an Indesign file and told to lay it out in an
interesting way that would be fun to read. The program was
printed on an HP Indigo 5500 with a matte varnish applied
to the parts that appear gray on screen. Areas that appear
the most black are printed with more values in the black
and have no varnish applied, allowing the glossy paper to
show thru.

14. Original File
This is the file I was given to work from. Information had
been copied from Excel Spreadsheets into Indesign and text
had been placed in Indesign. However, there were still many
blank pages and a lot of information that was deleted from
the final. This original file was 36 pages. I omitted things that
seemed unnecessary and condensed the information down
to 20 pages, saving money on printing and allowing it to be
saddle stitched instead of spiral bound. The final result was
much more professional than ABB had originally anticipated.
