  for people with mental and emotional disorders

• They must observe, interview and perform psychological tests in order to
  figure out a course of treatment

• In order to be a clinical psychologist you must be an active listener, have
  social perceptiveness, and give your client your full attention

• The education needed in order to pursue this career is a minimum of a
  bachelors degree and as high as a Ph.D or M.D

• Starting salary begins around $51,490 and experienced workers can make
  up to around $95,000
History Teacher
                                (Social)
• A history teacher must teach courses in human history and historiography

• In order to be a history teacher, you must be interested in working and
  communicating with people

• You must be able to prepare and deliver lectures in topics such as ancient
  history, post-war civilizations and third-world countries

• As well as, evaluating the students’ class work, assignments, and papers

• You will need a minimum of a bachelors degree but some school’s may
  require graduate school

• Starting salary is $47,520 and for experienced workers you can make up
  to $104,590
Architect
                           (Artistic)
• An architect must have the abilities to design structures such
  as houses, buildings, theaters, and factories
• You must be interested in working with forms and patterns
  and expressing yourself without a clear set of rules
• Some skills needed are critical thinking and having the ability
  to think of alternative ideas when problems come up
• You need time management skills and having the ability to
  manage your own time as well as others
• An architect will need a degree and on-the-job training
• Starting salary is around $52,140 and $102,310 for
  experienced workers

  facilities, educational environments as counselors and educators or have
  their own practice

• They usually have flexible schedules focused mainly on their clients and
  their own research which is associated with a usual style of BLUE
A Day in the life of an Editor
• Editors control the quality and control of printed work

• They work with authors and analyze their work going over grammar and
  rewrites that could be made

• Editors have the ability to plan, organize, and fix any inconsistencies in an
  author’s work

• An editor is associated with the interest color BLUE because they enjoy
  planning, editing, writing and composing ideas during activities

• They are associated with the style color BLUE because it is the type of
  job that is informally paced, creative and gives you time to think things
  through
A Day in the life of a Nurse
• Nurses help prevent disease and care for the injured and sick

• Nurses have the privilege of working in either hospitals, health facilities,
  clinics, schools, and even corporations

• Most nurses will assist doctors and help when problems arise

• Ten years out, nurses have the opportunity to leave the usual hospital
  setting and can take higher-paying supervisory positions
• Nurses are associated with the interest and style color BLUE because
  they are able to thrive in a cutting edge, informally paced, future-oriented
  environment
The careers that I found the most
appealing were psychologist, nurse, and
editor. I really took an interest in the
field of psychology because I want to
help people better their lives. I want to
research the field of psychology further
as well as these other careers. I feel that
these careers fit my personality well and
I enjoyed researching them
