A BRIEF BACKGROUND
As a participatory community development professional for more than two
decades I have remained engaged in planning, implementation and
monitoring of developmental projects, in an area which is coterminous with
the Chhotanagpur Plateau and inhabited mostly by SC, ST and other backward
communities, and known for very prevalent political insurgencies in a forest
based undulating topography, aiming at providing sustainable livelihood
support including health & education to the rural communities in both farm
and non-farm sectors, and creating socio-economic infrastructures, both for
the present and the future generations.
