This Project has been funded by PPAF (Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund) and
Executed by SRSP (Sarhad Rural Support Program). Major duties and functions
performed are as under,
Worked as member of multi-disciplinary mixed gender team of
professional for people centered poverty alleviation program.
Establishment of District office and Units in Project area.
Staff Hiring and placement in the District and Units.
Conducted excessive field visits and community dialogues on daily basis to
ensure damage assessment of houses for initial compensation.
The Basic tools of mobilization were used to ensure community willingness
during door-to-door houses damage assessment.
Community willingness was ensured for the construction of houses
according to the EERA guidelines after 2nd
Compensation of 75000 has
been made to them.
Community linkages were developed with other organizations to get relief
and rehabilitate damage infrastructure.
Daily correspondence with Regional Office through RRU and DRRU was
carried out and reports on daily progress updates were prepared and
delivered through MIS.
Socio-economic data was collected for the implementation of livelihood
and Watsan projects in the future.

Data on MIS was managed and updated on daily basis.
Supervised base line survey for KHUSHAL PAKISTAN project in all the 8
Union councils of Tehsil ALLAI District Battagram, BATTAL, Oggi and
Kala Dakha in District Mansehra, union council Sarkool, Dandi, Mera, in
District Shangla and union councils Batera, Dubair, palas in District
Kohisatn according to water shed rule.
A need Identification survey was also conducted for FAO Project in three
Union councils of Allai, Batela, Baeri, and Batkool.
Supervise and initiate CLRPs (Community Livelihood Rehabilitation Plans)
40 schemes in Allai and Battagram for the community livelihood
improvement.
Supervise the survey of poverty score card in Battagram for the new
initiated project on poverty alleviation. (BKPAP)

Attended 8 Days Training on Active Citizen Program of British Council in
Lahore for delivery of Active Citizen training in District Charsadda. 8
training events each of 4 days of British Council are delivered in Charsadda,
Abbottabad and Chitral.
Attended Five days training on Gender and Development Arranged SRSP
HRDC Peshawar.

Attended four days training in HRDC arranged by SRSP Mansehra Region,
the contents of the training were Social Mobilization, Disaster
management, Finance for non-finance persons, Micro finance, Monitoring
and Evaluation, PRA tools, Modern Development trends and concepts HR
policies and CPI,s.
Attended five days training in Islamabad, started from16-1-2007 to 20-1-
2007 arranged by PPAF (Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund). The contents
of the training were,
Social Mobilization history, concepts, practices and special emphasis on
community under Trauma.
Monitoring, Record keeping and report writing. The Role of
Communications and Effective Communication Skills.
Conflict Management and Conflict Resolution.
Disaster Management, Risk Management and Utilization of resources.
Got 12 days DPM (Development Planning and Management) Training
arranged by PAK CDP Peshawar in collaboration of SPO (Strengthening
Participatory Organization) (1997-98)
Got Training on Earth Quake Resistance Houses, arranged by SRSP,
PPAF and GTZ.
A series of training was arranged (each training of three days) to train 600
skilled and semi-skilled Masons, steel fixers and carpenters in one union
council for the construction of earth quake resistance houses.
CMST (Community Management and Skills Training) were arranged for
the Mangers of Community Organizations to enhance their learning and
positive thinking to maintain CO’s record.
LMST (Leadership management and Skills Trainings) were arranged to
train one Manager of each community organization to enhance their
capacity for the smooth running of their organization. Furthermore to
enhance the capacity of these managers to play the role of leaders and
improve their linkages.
