• Nutrients and minerals in the food
• Different types: Go, Grow and Glow
• Foods that we can eat everyday and
different color categories
• Foods that can be sold in the
canteen and be eaten everyday
• Foods like fruits & vegetables
• Foods that can be purchased and
avoided inside the school
• Foods with high and low value of
nutrients
• Group of foods with minerals and
nutrients-1st and 2nd category, 3rd
category- that shall not be eaten
during snack time

to do anything in particular? (Sa tingin
ninyo, may ipinapagawa po ba sa inyo ang
poster? Ano po sa tingin ninyo ito?)
• Foods displayed in the upper part
should be eaten everyday
• Yellow category, twice a week
• Red category would result to
diseases
• Helps in informing the canteen
personnel of what foods to be
displayed
• Green Category are foods to be
eaten to prevent diseases; the best
choice of food
• Be knowledgeable of what to eat
daily.
• Yellow Category- To be eaten often
• Red- Can be eaten in the proper
place; “Masarap ang bawal”
• Students are the ones to choose
what food is best taken everyday

• Green Category- Everyday
• Yellow- Twice a week
• Red- Can be taken out from the
canteens; yummy foods. Although
its yummy, it should be corrected.
• It provides knowledge and the bad
effects of other foods
• What are the right foods to be
offered in the canteens and the
foods not to be offered
• Eat only foods that belong to Green
and Yellow categories. And foods in
red categories must not be eaten
• Be healthy always
• Choose only what are the right kind
of foods
• Be aware always
• Eat nutrient-rich foods

• People do eat foods that belong to
red category because its delicious
but they will be embarrassed if they
will be corrected for it.
• “Foods not be sold in the canteen”-
Vendors might be offended
• Someone might tease the one’s who
are eating foods in the red category

• Pictures of vegetable, fruits, and
milk are included
• “Best choices for the menu”-
Pushing/teaching them to eat the
right kind of food
• Inclusion of DepED Order, since it
gives realization to the students

• Rice must be limited only and does
not belong to Green Category
• Pictures are vague and condensed

• Picture of sandwich that belongs to
Yellow Category, but why not put in
Green?
• Its not purely red color but PINK
• At the lower portion of watermelon,
it cannot be determined that its
Puto Cheese

• Edit or change the words that are
hard to understand
• It can be in a form of
Filipino/Mother tongue
• Printing must be improved
• Exclude the sandwich in the yellow
category
• Foods must be labeled and
enumerated per category
• Add more food items in Red
Category
• Add foods in the Red Category
including the street foods that are
also sold inside the schools (e.g.
ISAW, barbecue)
• Write it properly since other
phrases or words overlapped the
pictures of foods
• Put also the side effects of the
unhealthy and healthy foods if its
eaten
• Must be in a larger font size
• Put border on the poster

• Yellow category is served here in
the school 3x a week
• Students verbalized that they don’t
eat raw foods like the meat as
displayed on the poster
• Students don’t think that Ice Candy
belongs to Red Category
• Batchoy in the picture: eggs must
not be included in the recipe of
batchoy. They may think that
batchoy with egg does belong to
Green Category
• Camote cue and banana cue shall
be in the Green Category
