THE KNOWLEDGE BANK
As the knowledge bank is a key function within our working
environment and allows businessto business to shareideas
and innovations the A1 Coal House to Metro Centre
Improvement site team invited the Chartered Association of
BuildingEngineers (Cabe) to the A1 site to shareinnovations
and ideas within the civil engineering industry.The 17
members of Cabe who attended the site visitwere made up
from companies such as The Gateshead Housing Company,
Tolant, Capita and Cestria. The visitors had in-depth
knowledge of the industry and were interested in finding
out how the site team managed the works being in close
proximity to residential dwellingsand stakeholders.Positive
feedback was received in regards to the traffic management
of the site and the logisticsof the three sections working
hand in hand.The 17 members then had a livewalk out on
to the northern section of the site.
