Rafols Machine Shop and Engineering Services received a PhP 950,000 grant from SETUP to expand their metal fabrication and engine reconditioning services. With assistance from DOST, they acquired a new lathe machine, received consultancy and training support, and improved productivity. This enabled Rafols to meet growing market demand, offer new services, expand operations, and increase monthly sales from PhP100,000 to PhP2.5 million while creating over 60 new jobs. The upgraded facility now provides affordable, high-quality services that strengthen local industry and boost economic development in the region.
