Common Proficiency Test (CPT)
Common Proficiency Test is an entry level test for Chartered Accountancy Course. A student who has passed the Class 10 examination may register for Common Proficiency Test ( CPT). A registered student may appear in Common Proficiency Test after he has appeared in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination). A student has to register himself on or before 1st April and 1st October for examination to be held in June and December every year.

Common Proficiency Test is an entry level test for Chartered Accountancy Course. A student who has passed the Class 10 examination may register for Common Proficiency Test ( CPT). A registered student may appear in Common Proficiency Test after he has appeared in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination). A student has to register himself on or before 1st April and 1st October for examination to be held in June and December every year. This is an objective type test is of 200 marks, divided into 2 sessions of 2 hours each. There are 4 subjects to be studied namely, Accounting(60 marks), Mercantile Laws(40 marks), General Economics (50 marks) and Quantitative Aptitude(50 marks).
Integrated Professional Competency Course (IPCC)
This is first stage of the chartered accountancy curriculum wherein only working knowledge of core and allied subjects to accountancy profession is covered. The unique feature of this course is that it is a blend of supportive and complementary practical training which helps the students to learn the practical applications of the theoretical education scheme. This course also enables the students to develop proper understanding of the business environment, communication skills and information technology. A student who has passed Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) may join the Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC)
