This 25-minute video introduces the concepts of transparent and reproducible social research. The focus of this video is social science research that employs statistical techniques to analyse observational data (e.g. social surveys). Many of the issues associated with undertaking transparent and reproducible data analysis pervade other forms of social science research (e.g. qualitative data analysis), despite the different nature of the data and the analytical techniques that are used.

Week 1 - Assignment Ethical Research Due to significant violations of federal and institutional rules and regulations, ethical issues in human participant research have received increasing attention over the past 50 years. While it might seem obvious that respect, integrity, fidelity, and justice should serve as the ethical foundation for all research activities, this has not always been the case for research involving human participation. Instructions : After reviewing Standard 8: Research and Publication of the APA Ethics Code, select three of the substandards and discuss their importance with respect to research activities. The fifteen substandards include: 8.1 Institutional Approval 8.2 Informed Consent to Research 8.3 Informed Consent for Recording Voices and Images in Research 8.4 Client/Patient, Student, and Subordinate Research Participants 8.5 Dispensing with Informed Consent for Research 8.6 Offering Inducements for Research Participation 8.7 Deception in Research 8.8 Debriefing 8.9 Humane Care and Use of Animals in Research 8.10 Reporting Research Results 8.11 Plagiarism 8.12 Publication Credit 8.13 Duplicate Publication of Data 8.14 Sharing Research Data for Verification 8.15 Reviewers Consider a proposed research study that interests you and discuss how these standards would apply during the research process, including how you might ensure the protection of human subjects in a study on your topic. Research is a cautious consideration of phenomenon, a process of inquiry. It must be based on knowledge and not on beliefs. It is also a product of an experiment done. According to the American Sociologist Earl Robert Barbie, research is a systematic inquiry to describe, predict, and control the observed phenomena. 1. Empirical – Research is based on direct experience or observation by the researcher. 2. Logical - Research is based on valid procedures and principles. 3. Cyclical – Research is a cyclical process because it starts with a problem and ends with a problem. 4. Analytical – Utilizes proven analytical procedure in gathering the data whether historical, descriptive and experimental and case study. 5. Critical – exhibits careful and precise judgement. 6. Methodical – Conducted in a methodical manner without bias using systematic method and procedures. 7. Replicability – The research design and procedures are replicated or repeated to enable the researcher to arrive at valid and conclusive result.

Wizards are very useful for creating a good user experience. In all businesses, interactive sessions are most beneficial. To improve the user experience, wizards in Odoo provide an interactive session. For creating wizards, we can use transient models or abstract models. This gives features of a model class except the data storing. Transient and abstract models have permanent database persistence. For them, database tables are made, and the records in such tables are kept until they are specifically erased.

While single melodic lines are simpler and more straightforward, they still allow for creativity and emotional expression. Meanwhile, the simultaneous occurrence of multiple melodic lines can create a more intricate and complex musical structure that challenges the listener's ear and engages their attention.
