- Hi, this is mohammedalashram and I will be presenting on behalf of partners:
- In the following I will talk about our business idea, explain why it is special and conclude with some of the projected financial highlights
- Our business idea is not a breakthrough, it’s a saloon called (the perfect saloon), all of you know what a saloon is
- But to make it special, we added three elements which are:
- First of all we designed a logo that that is easy to distinguish As illustrated It is simply a razor blade drawn with the uae flag colors
- The Perfect Man’s Saloon will be different than other saloons. In it customers will be able to style their hair while entertaining themselves with different available facilities. Customers will have the individual access to the following:Televisions
- The same TVs will be connected to Video games
- And internet.
- Customers will also be served hot beverages, while waiting there turn and when possible on hair dressing chair
- Busy customers will be able to order our “Home Service”, in which a hair stylist performs his services in a dedicated van in front of the customers’ houses.
- Or perform his service in a customer selected room in the customer’s house
- This service will also be available to Women. We think this will be very popular among Emirati women, taking the culture into consideration
- The Saloon will also feature hair treatment services including our exclusive and high class odorless caviar treatment, which is rich with “omega-3 fatty acids” that are known for their positive effect resulting in healthy hair.We will be the first saloon to offer this treatment in the region.
- Many celebrities are known to use this treatment including Catherine Zeta Jones
- And Angelina Julie, this will help in promoting our service, especially to women
- All of the above services will help in distinguishing our name and making “The Perfect Saloon” Special
- Moreover, our home-service will include children hairdressing, eliminating the need for children to visit the shop. And making families more comfortable.
- The home service will eliminate the need for waiting inline and the other entertainment facilities will prove time saving for our customers
- After visiting our saloon, customers will see how other saloons are boring
- And will discover the joy in getting their needs in our saloon or in their houses through our service
- Moving on, here are some of our projected financial highlights
- As illustrated above, our projection for the next three years, predicts an increase in the profitability ratios. The ratios will see a decrease in the third year because of higher advertising expenses. Our capability to pay any liabilities with cash is evident, as the current ratio is high. Moreover, the company’s Debt to Equity ratio is high; however, it will decrease gradually as we pay our debts. This illustrates the simplicity of the Saloon’s industry.
- The income statements show a 100% increase in profits in the second year because of less advertising, which was reduced by half.
- Here is our balance sheet for 2009
- As you can see, the biggest cost will be salaries, we will finance the business by taking 900000 from SME, 100000 personal capital and 100,000 family loan.
- Some of you may ask why take huge amount of money for a simple business. Well, it is to fight possible risks like:Sudden increase in maintenance expenses, resulting from accidents in the saloon (to computers and other equipments). And The threat of substitutes or increasing competitiveness in the industry we will also use our cash when implementing any new ideas to the business
