Business Process Scheduling (BPS) provides a more flexible framework for scheduling logistical activities in SAP S/4HANA. BPS allows scheduling at the day or second level and includes 5 pre-delivered schemas for processes like sales, stock transport, and delivery. It offers a common default schema containing predefined activities and date types for these processes. Configuring BPS involves defining activities, date types, and schemas, then assigning activities and activating BPS for documents like sales orders. Sample scenarios demonstrate scheduling by attributes like shipping point and incoterms.

Business Process Scheduling (BPS) provides a more flexible and configurable scheduling framework
that can be used to schedule standard and custom logistical activities of different business processes
in S/4HANA 2022. For example you can schedule sales order items without route.
