For this assignment, I chose to use UBISOFT. Many of my favorite games were designed by this company. They
have a long history of releasing good products and I have developed an expectation for high standards with them as I continueto
play their games. Since my major is in videogame design, I hope that I might help to develop high quality games as well.

I found the first article to be credible. However, unfortunately, external sources were not

of the facts provided is up to the reader. When looking into the Financial Post, I found that it
has been in print in Ontario for over 100 years, providing the locals with reliable and
accessible news. The news company itself has an upstanding reputation and history as well.

copyrighted even by inspecting the original source of the article. However, the Toronto Star has been
providing local news to its residents since it was originally founded in 1892 as the Evening Star, and has
been a reliable source for information since.

For article 3, I used the web tab results from LexisNexis. I found this article less reliable than the
previous 2 because when navigating to it, I immediately encountered popup ads. Additionally, I could
not find out who the author of the article was. When I researched the magazine, I found that anyone
can contribute an article for publication simply by reading the ‘about’ page on the magazine’s website.
The magazine was originally started in 2003 as a simple blog site for people to keep up with the latest
news in technology.

•The author’s job title is associate editor for MKV.
•The article was published on The Market for
Computers & Video Games.

•The article is dated March 13, 2015.

I was able to access this particular article by employing ‘search operators’ in the Google search engine
and found it to be from a fairly credible source. Even though the online publication has only been
established since 1998, it has many subscribers and even offers a printed subscription. The information
that the article provided was easily verified and did not appear to be at all bias. In addition, the
publication employs writers and editors, which makes the information more reliable as it offers a sense
of accountability.

facts provided in the article were true and accurate, and the article itself was well presented.
