Tendo conhecimento do impacto que o espaço construído causa no meio ambiente, este trabalho busca investigar como a inovação tecnológica contribui para a melhoria da qualidade do espaço construído. Ao fazer uma análise do desenvolvimento de políticas públicas no estado do Espírito Santo voltadas para ciência, tecnologia e inovação, analisando também ambientes de inovação tecnológica (Parques tecnológicos) comparando a situação nacional com ambientes internacionais, foi constatado que esses ambientes de inovação tecnológica necessitam da interação do poder público, com o setor produtivo e a iniciativa acadêmica de pesquisa, foi constatado também que esses ambientes no Brasil ainda são dependentes do poder público apesar de se caracterizarem por instrumentos de desenvolvimento regional em planos diretores urbano. A indústria da construção civil no Brasil ainda é atrasada em termos de alta qualidade ambiental e inovações tecnológicas, desta forma esse trabalho aborda os conceitos do edifício de alta qualidade ambiental, as certificações ambientais usadas no Brasil (LEED e AQUA), além da regulamentação de eficiência energética, que são instrumentos de avaliação e orientação no processo projetual para edifícios de desempenho ambiental. Nesse contexto, foi necessária a discussão da prática e pesquisa relacionada a edificações de alta qualidade ambiental. Nesta abordagem identificaram-se grupos de pesquisa nacionais (GPAS, NORIE e LABAUT) e internacionais (BRE) que atuam nesta área, onde novamente foi identificada a falta de interação do setor acadêmico com o setor produtivo no contexto nacional. Foram realizados três estudos de caso (California Academy of Science, Center of Sustainable Energy Technology e Cenpes II – Petrobrás) identificando as principais estratégias de qualidade ambiental, técnicas construtivas e outros elementos que tornam estes edifícios inovadores, colaborando e fundamentando a proposta projetual de um centro de pesquisas em tecnologias para a qualidade ambiental nas edificações no estado do Espírito Santo.

BULLYING
Bullying is the deliberate abuse by use of force to dominate over another person. It entails the forceful authority over another person to inflict physical or mental pain in a given social setting. Bullying has existed since time immemorial with the vice being common among the school setting especially in the youthful adolescent stage. The vice evolves to not only include the only physical doings but all acts that aims at intimidating another person in the desire to gain forceful authority over someone. It can be attributed partly to ego, self esteem and the desire to get action by use of aggression without prior understanding or mutual correlation of the parties involved.
Various forms of bullying exist since the time immemorial with the cyber bullying emerging as a modern form of bullying in the digital world. With the broad classification of bullying falling under physical bullying, verbal bullying, covert bullying and the presently cyber bullying. All of this actions regarded in the desire of action by use of force or the unreasoned reaction towards the loss of intended action. A physical bully will involve the physical inflicting of pain towards another person by kicking, hitting, pushing, pinching hitting, damage of property and tripping over another person due to aggression. Its commonly a vice found in schools with its social environment likely to breed depression and suicidal thoughts. Peer influence in the desire to maintain ego would thus make up person to inflict physical pain be it to the other person or to physically destroy property in the intention to hurt.
Verbal bullying is a psychologically intended way of inflicting pain to another person. Only a personality will feel the pain of an insult, intimidation, calling of nicknames that are humiliating to the other person and the deliberate racist remarks that that are all forms of abusing another person verbally.
Another form of bullying is the covert bullying that involves the indirect way of tarnishing the name of an individual or a given body of interest. Margitics, F.(2012) It’s usually indirect and may sometimes be left unrealized in the event of tarnishing someone’s reputation and the exclusion of someone in an indirect way so as to harm the other person socially. Negative physical gesturing towards someone may be left unnoticed by the person being bullied while it deliberately creates a negative image of the individual to the people involved.
In the modern era comes the cyber bullying, which usually involves the direct to target analogy to harm the person intended, it may involve the sending of defamatory messages and the deliberate harassment of a person by use of cell phones and the exclusion of a person from a social networking space so as to hurt the person emotionally.

3. “Bullying is simply a repeated oppression,
psychological or physical, of a less powerful person by
a more powerful person or group of
persons”(Thompson 2013 p.2). Bullying is very
different from aggression that is between individuals
that has equal power. The reasons why an individual
can have less power than other individuals is simply
because shyness, lack of confidence, and lack of
physical strength. Bullying also takes on a wide variety
of different forms such as physical threats, violence,
name-calling, and teasing, both ostracism as well as
social attacks on an individuals reputation.
4. Conflict has always been a normal aspect of the majority
of relationships simply because individuals have both
perspectives as well as priorities that are different. Although the
majority of children truly do need adult supervision, it is
because they will be able to learn how to constructively deal
with conflict. Most upsetting conflicts is not considered to be
bullying. Individuals can be hurtful also by experiencing with
the negative uses of the power that they have without even
realizing how it will impact. “The good news is that the social-
emotional skills that can prevent and stop most bullying and
harassment are also important in building healthy
relationships”(Thompson 2013 p.3).
5. Children along with teens truly do need repeated,
consistent messages from their parents, all of their teachers, all
of their faculty members, and every adult reminding them to
always be safe. This simply means that children and teens
should not be scared of another individual that is attempting to
harm them. “Your job is to speak up if someone is saying or
doing something that is harmful to you, and get help from
”(Thompson 2013 p.4).
6. Always make sure to give individuals the opportunities to
practice being powerful, respectful, and persistent whenever utilizing
these skills:
• Utilize awareness to notice situations that are problems.
• Tell someone to stop.
• Ask to join in the conversations in a friendly and confident way.
• Leave and find someone different to play with.
• Interrupt adults that are busy and be persistent in regards to asking
for help with a safety problem.
7. A student who is being bullied usually displays loneliness,
misery, and despair. It is very important to pay careful attention
o the warning signals such as your child suddenly not wanting to
go to school, showing depression, and acting upset about
elationships with peers(Thompson 2013). Make sure that your
child truly knows that you will definitely help no matter how
busy you are.
8. Make sure to always stay very calm, no matter how upset
you feel. The is a strong possibility that there will be more
success in regards to dealing with both they problem as well as
your child.
9. The way that you respond can truly make a huge
impact on bullying over time. In regards to stopping
bullying on the spot, whenever adults react both quickly as
well as consistently to bullying behavior, it definitely sends a
message that it truly is not acceptable. “Research has shown
that this can stop bullying over time”(Thompson 2013 p.5).
10. Cyberbullying occurs when the kids bully other kids
through utilizing electronic technology. “There are several
different types of Cyberbullying such as mean texts, or emails,
rumors that were sent via email or posted on social networking
sites and embarrassing pictures, videos, and fake
profiles”(Thompson 2013 p.5).
11. Whenever there is a child, or either a individual that is
close to you getting bullied ,it is important to always make sure
that bullying is truly understood “The warning sign of bullying,
and the steps to take for preventing and responding to bullying,
include how to talk to the children, about bullying, and
prevention in schools and communities(Thompson 2013 p.5).
