of the string. There are several things to consider;
a. The length of the string
b. The diameter of the string
c. The amount that the string stretches
d. The temperature of the surrounding area
2. To work out the length of the string first you must find a ruler or tape measure of sufficient
length to measure the string.
a. Place one end of the string and the start of the measuring devise.
b. Pull the string along the measuring devise until you reach the other end of the string.
c. Note down the length of the string.

The hotness of a cup of coffee can be calculated; there are several formulas depending on the situation.
A. Coffee temperature = Original temperature - Amount of cold milk
B. Coffee temperature = Original temperature - Amount of cold milk – Standing Time
