From October 21st to 28th, a group of 20 students from Greece, Germany, Poland, and France visited a high school in Palazzolo sull'Oglio, Italy as part of an Erasmus project called "Include Me" aimed at breaking down barriers between people of different cultures and backgrounds. They also had the opportunity to visit a lake and beach. An important part of the trip was presenting plays about different countries to learn about each other's histories and find common roots among Europeans. The student felt they became more social and learned not to regret the trip due to the beautiful places visited and people met.

A group of 21 teachers from Galicia, Spain arrived in Vancouver, Canada on July 11th to attend methodology classes in Tsawwassen from 9am to 2:30pm. During their time there, they experienced Canadian culture such as barbecues on the beach, an abundance of berries for fruit, and raw vegetables. They observed different wildlife species and habits of Canadians not wearing shoes inside. The teachers spent time in the library learning English and teaching strategies from their hosts Donna and Steve, such as singing Canadian songs. They learned about assessment for learning and gaining student feedback. The teachers noticed differences between Spain and Canada in school laboratories and resources. They were grateful for the three week experience.

Students from Portugal participated in a student exchange program in Slovenia. Gonçalo enjoyed his homestay experience but did not like the school food. Tiago was warmly welcomed by his host family and enjoyed activities at the clean and organized school, especially sports and the water park. Beatriz was initially nervous but was made to feel at home by her host family. She enjoyed cultural experiences in Ljubljana and Beltinci and appreciated learning about other cultures through school programs. The exchange was a unique and unforgettable experience for all.
AIESEC Mykolaiv_Polish intern story
Paulina Sikora participated in a summer camp social project in Mykolaiv, Ukraine through AIESEC. She presented on Polish culture, traditions, and history to youth aged 7-16. She worked with interns from other countries who also presented on their cultures. Paulina improved her language skills, especially her Ukrainian. She enjoyed learning about other cultures and making new friends. Paulina was impressed by the beauty of Ukraine and Mykolaiv. The local AIESEC committee ensured the interns were well cared for. Paulina was grateful for the experience and assistance from the AIESEC committees in both Poland and Ukraine.
