A workshop session facilitated by Paul J. Heidema and Junbin Huang at the Toronto Agile Community 2016 conference. It comprised of: what is a value stream, how to build a value stream map, hands-on exercise of building a value stream map in a small group, and debriefing at the end in a large group.

24. Paul has learned to focus on empowering
others, leadership through deeds over
words, and the power of co-creating self-
organizing teams. He loves to give back
through more than 40 articles, dozens of
workshops, and countless conversations.
Junbin has a strong focus in breaking down
problems and exploring solutions together
with his teams. He is often found asking
tough questions to bring the team towards
a common understanding (since effective
communication is half the battle!).
