2. Your Task:
• We will be working on our budget projects
all week. Each of you will receive an
occupation and a salary.
• With this information, you will be creating
a monthly budget that includes buying a
house or renting an apartment, buying a
car, paying bills, creating a grocery list, and
providing for kids and pets!
• This is an in-class project and you will be
creating a poster to present to the class at
the end of the Unit.

3. Things to Include on Your Poster:
• A “picture” of you.
• A picture of your pets if your choose to
have any.
• A symbol to represent your job.
• A picture of your house or apartment with
amount paid.
• A picture of a car with the amount it cost.
• A grocery list for a dinner for four and a
check written to the grocery store for the
amount it costs to buy.
