13. Harbourfront Centre is a Canadian charity operating the 10 prime
acres of Toronto’s central waterfront as a free and open public
site. We celebrate the multiplicities of cultures that comprise
Canada and enliven the city through the creative imaginations of
artists from across the country and around the globe.

Something exciting is happening on the shore of Lake Ontario and we want
you to be part of it. As never before, Toronto is thriving on the global stage
as an urban centre, as a destination, and as a leading example of cultural
inclusivity.
Harbourfront Centre is unique in Toronto for its location and the amazing
variety of multidisciplinary programming on offer. As a non-profit charitable
organization, we are dedicated to providing residents and visitors alike the
opportunity to explore, learn about and celebrate our city’s diversity.
This summer, weekends at Harbourfront Centre start Wednesdays –
beginning with our Free Flicks, followed by Dancing on the Pier on Thursday
evenings, and culminating in great live music concerts on Friday and
Saturday nights. This gives Toronto something to count on every week,
all summer long, and almost always free of charge.
We invite you to explore your waterfront, enjoy our festivals, and relax with
great views and great food. With music, lakeside activities, Boxcar Social
and their new patio, The Slip, there are plenty of perfect places to soak up
the sun at Harbourfront Centre, Toronto’s cottage on Lake Ontario.
Whether you are a long-time patron or visiting us for the first time, we
warmly invite you to discover Harbourfront Centre.
Marah Braye
Chief Executive Officer
