Breastfeeding, also known as nursing, is the feeding of babies and young children with milk from a woman's breast. Health professionals recommend that breastfeeding begin within the first hour of a baby's life and continue as often and as much as the baby wants
The World Health Organization and UNICEF have recommended for a decade that mothers breastfeed for at least two years. But most US women who nurse stop before their baby is six months old – and many never start at all.
Today we all know about our baby’s very first meal. Yes, you are right! I am talking about the “first milk of mother”. In this blog, we will cover all about it from its head to tail. That means -what is the first milk? Why it's important? And how you can master in latching?

Mastering Wealth: A Path to Financial FreedomFatimaMary4
### Understanding Wealth: A Comprehensive Guide
Wealth is a multifaceted concept that extends beyond mere financial assets. It encompasses a range of elements including money, investments, property, and other valuable resources. However, true wealth also includes non-material aspects such as health, relationships, and personal fulfillment. This guide delves into the various dimensions of wealth, exploring how it can be created, sustained, and enjoyed.
#### Defining Wealth
Traditionally, wealth is defined as the abundance of valuable resources or material possessions. It includes financial assets like cash, savings, stocks, bonds, and real estate. However, a broader understanding of wealth considers factors such as personal well-being, emotional health, social connections, and intellectual growth. This holistic view recognizes that true wealth is not solely about accumulating money but also about enhancing one's quality of life.
#### The Importance of Financial Wealth
Financial wealth remains a critical component of overall wealth. It provides security, freedom, and the ability to pursue opportunities. Key elements of financial wealth include:
1. **Savings**: Money set aside for future use. It is crucial for emergencies, large purchases, and financial goals.
2. **Investments**: Assets purchased with the expectation that they will generate income or appreciate over time. Common investments include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate, and businesses.
3. **Income**: Regular earnings from work, investments, or other sources. Consistent income is essential for maintaining and growing wealth.
4. **Debt Management**: Effectively managing debt ensures that it does not erode financial wealth. This includes paying off high-interest debt and using credit wisely.
#### Creating Wealth
Creating wealth involves generating and accumulating financial and non-financial resources. The process can be broken down into several key strategies:
1. Education and Skill Development: Investing in education and skills enhances earning potential. Higher education, professional certifications, and continuous learning can lead to better job opportunities and higher salaries.
2. Entrepreneurship: Starting and running a successful business can be a significant source of wealth. Entrepreneurship requires innovation, risk-taking, and effective management.
3. Investing: Making smart investments is essential for wealth creation. This involves understanding different types of investments, assessing risks, and making informed decisions. Diversifying investments can reduce risk and increase potential returns.
4. Saving and Budgeting: Effective saving and budgeting help accumulate wealth over time. Setting financial goals, creating a budget, and sticking to it are foundational steps in wealth creation.
5. Real Estate: Investing in property can provide rental income and capital appreciation. Real estate is a tangible asset that can hedge against inflation

Couples presenting to the infertility clinic- Do they really have infertility...Sujoy Dasgupta
Dr Sujoy Dasgupta presented the study on "Couples presenting to the infertility clinic- Do they really have infertility? – The unexplored stories of non-consummation" in the 13th Congress of the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE 2024) at Manila on 24 May, 2024.
Ethanol (CH3CH2OH), or beverage alcohol, is a two-carbon alcohol
that is rapidly distributed in the body and brain. Ethanol alters many
neurochemical systems and has rewarding and addictive properties. It
is the oldest recreational drug and likely contributes to more morbidity,
mortality, and public health costs than all illicit drugs combined. The
5th edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
(DSM-5) integrates alcohol abuse and alcohol dependence into a single
disorder called alcohol use disorder (AUD), with mild, moderate,
and severe subclassifications (American Psychiatric Association, 2013).
In the DSM-5, all types of substance abuse and dependence have been
combined into a single substance use disorder (SUD) on a continuum
from mild to severe. A diagnosis of AUD requires that at least two of
the 11 DSM-5 behaviors be present within a 12-month period (mild
AUD: 2–3 criteria; moderate AUD: 4–5 criteria; severe AUD: 6–11 criteria).
The four main behavioral effects of AUD are impaired control over
drinking, negative social consequences, risky use, and altered physiological
effects (tolerance, withdrawal). This chapter presents an overview
of the prevalence and harmful consequences of AUD in the U.S.,
the systemic nature of the disease, neurocircuitry and stages of AUD,
comorbidities, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, genetic risk factors, and
pharmacotherapies for AUD.

2. Breast feeding should be started as soon as
possible after normal delivery and within one hour
in case of caesarian section delivery.
Rooming in and bedding should be done with
mother and baby to prevent separation and
promote breast feeding.
3.
4.
5. Here are the basic steps for breast feeding:
1. Comfortable and well supported with position.
2. Place your baby on your bare chest , facing you.
if she's crying, calm her first, perhaps by letting her suck your
finger.
3. When calm, your baby will begin to follow his instincts.
4. Your baby will most likely position herself on an angle, with her mouth
near your nipple and her feet supported by your thigh or lap.
5.When your baby is just below your nipple, he'll dig his chin into your
breast, reach up with an open mouth, attach to the breast and start
sucking
6.
7.
8. The Cradle Hold The Crossover Hold
This is the classic position
where the baby lies on her
side with her belly against
yours and her head resting in
the crook of your arm
Similar to the cradle hold, the
crossover hold switches the
roles of your arms. This
position might be good for
small babies or those who
have trouble latching on
9. The Football Hold The Reclining Position
In this position, you hold the
baby tucked under your arm
like a football, on the same
side you’re nursing from.
Support her back with your
forearm and hold her to your
breast face-up, with her nose
level with your nipple. Gently
cup your breast and guide her
to it, chin first
If you want to nurse while
lying on your side in bed, this
is the position for you.
Support yourself well with
pillows, and keep your back
and hips in a straight line.
Hold the baby close to you on
her side, her head even with
your breast
11. Tickle your baby's lips
with your nipple. This
will help baby open
their mouth wide.
Aim your nipple just
above your baby's top lip.
Make sure your baby's
chin isn't tucked into their
chest
Baby's lips should be
turned outward like a
fish. Your baby should
lead into the breast chin
first and then latch onto
your breast. Your baby's
tongue should be
extended, and your
breast should fill your
baby's mouth
If your baby latches just on the tip of your nipple or
it hurts, gently put a clean finger in your baby's
mouth to break the latch, then try again.
12. The latch is comfortable and pain free.
Your baby's chest and stomach rest against
your body, so that baby's head is straight, not
turned to the side.
Your baby's chin touches your breast.
Your baby's mouth opens wide around your
breast, not just the nipple.
Your baby's lips turn out.
Your baby's tongue cups under your breast.
You hear or see swallowing.
Your baby's ears move slightly.
15. • Breast and nipple size and shape.
• Exhaustion.
• Feeling like you can't leave your baby.
• Feelings of sadness or depression.
• Dealing with judgment.
16.
17. Myth #1. If babies feed a lot, that means they aren't getting
enough milk.
Myth # 2. Giving the breast a nursing "rest" can help ensure more
milk.
Myth # 3. Formula fed babies sleep better.
18. Myth # 5: Breastfeeding changes the shape and size of your
breast, or reduces sensitivity.
Myth # 6: Never wake a sleeping baby to breastfeed.
Myth # 7:Breastfeeding prevents you from getting pregnant.
