This document summarizes the author's previous research and outlines plans for future work. The author's PhD focused on differentiated process modeling, finding that individual problem-solving strategies better explain variations in modeling performance. The author proposes to generalize this work by studying differentiated problem solving across domains. A future study would measure how fit between individual cognitive profiles, problems, and strategies impacts problem-solving load and performance. The goal is to advance differentiated cognitive research and create breakthroughs in adaptive problem-solving support.
