How is Bottlenose doing it?
• Creates a dynamic semantic interest graph about every topic, link
and person on the Stream
• Uses a new patent-pending platform for social listening, analytics, and
trend detection, called the StreamOS
– Natural-language processing, semantic classification, sentiment detection, analytics,
rules automation, attention profiling, trend detection, and personalization
– Ranking of topics and trends using StreamSense (new algorithm to measure attention,
conceptual similar to Google’s PageRank, but for social messages)

• Runs in your browser when you visit and use Bottlenose
• Acts as a site, but is in fact an app running in your browser

• Extending the Cloud to your computer
