The Brazil goes far beyond football, carnival and women, we
are a country full of natural beauties like beaches, waterfalls,
animals and a variety of fruits. In addition we have the most
welcoming, happy and sociable people you can imagine.
More than Football
We are a mix of races
The Brazilian population consists mainly of descendants of
indigenous peoples, Portuguese settlers, African slaves and
different groups of immigrants as Italian, German, Spanish,
Syrian-Lebanese Japanese, Polish, Dutch and Ukrainians.
For this reason the Brazil has a rich diversity of cultures.
4. Why Brazil?
Food
The regional foods are very diversified from state to state,
exactly for its large size and its colonization, which gives a
huge variety of ingredients and flavors.
Some typical foods are rice and beans, barbecue, feijoada,
açai and brigadeiro (a delicious sweet).
The Brazil is composed of 26 states and the federal district,
each of them has fantastic places, a distinct population and a
remarkable cuisine. The climate is tropical and always seems
to live in the summer. Any time of the year is perfect to go to
the beach. Low temperatures are located in southern Brazil,
creating landscapes that resemble europe.

AIESEC Brasilia was founded in 1998 by students of the
University of Brasilia, a federal public university, one of the
most important higher education institution in Brazil. AIESEC
Brasilia is not linked to a university only, it represents all the
universities of Brasilia.
The 2015 team is formed by the Executive Board Calliandra
whose mission is Make It Worth It. Through excellence,
leadership stories and experiences we seek to be among the
TOP 10 in the world.
12. The situation in Brazil is currently made up of various social,
educational and economic disparities. More and more
Brazilian children and teenagers grow up being heavily
impacted by such issues of their reality. Live in the lowest
social reality makes the expectations for the future quite
limited., so these young people do not see opportunities for
change and not feel able to transform their situation.
The Change Yourself Change Your Home Project aims to
impact the lives of these children and teenagers through
social entrepreneurship education, developing their leadership
and making them agents of change in their communities. The
project will take place in schools and NGOs from Brasilia to
children and teenagers.
