- Yuri Matiyasevich is best known for proving this – by solving Hilbert’s 10th problem with a negative answer. He proved that Diophantine Equations cannot be solved by machines.
- After decades of work, Andrew Wiles DID solve Fermat’s last theorem. Here was the paradox – Humans CAN solve something a computer cannot.
