This newsletter summarizes the activities of the "Improving the Professional Skills in Green Constructions Through Online Training" project. The 3rd partner meeting was held in Frankfurt, Germany in December 2018. Partners discussed module development and assessments. They also shared dissemination activities in their countries. Upcoming activities include translating modules into partner languages and a train-the-trainer event in January 2019 to prepare tutors for pilot testing modules with construction workers in each country between February and May 2019. The next partner meeting will be in Hungary in May 2019.
2020_09_23 "Faceing COVID-19 and the new normal at TUM" - Hans Pongratz
- TUM had to quickly transition to remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. It mobilized 500 student assistants to help digitize materials and build online courses. It also established task forces around issues like campus licenses, examinations, and student presence.
- For the summer 2020 term, TUM focused on quality management and obtaining feedback from teachers and students. It provided guidance documents and support for online teaching. It also held an ideas competition around virtual labs, digital formats, and student learning.
- TUM's IT infrastructure, including its Moodle and Panopto systems, supported the transition and proved effective. Over 35,000 students accessed Moodle and over 27,000 used Panopto.

1) The MOOC@TU9 project involved a joint MOOC produced by 9 leading technical universities in Germany (TU9) to promote engineering degrees and attract international students.
2) The inaugural MOOC on "German Engineering" had over 1,300 participants from over 80 countries. It consisted of 9 weekly lectures delivered live by professors from the TU9 universities.
3) While the MOOC was helpful for study orientation, its dual focus on teaching and marketing weakened its course character. Going forward, the TU9 universities will produce more specialized engineering MOOCs and separate the guidance and marketing components.

Collaboration and Exchange in technology enabled education
European Schoolnet works to support technology-enabled education across Europe. It conducts a large survey of ICT in schools that finds students use technology more outside of school and teachers need more training. It promotes collaboration between schools using resources on the Learning Resource Exchange and Scientix repositories. Projects like Go-Lab and Global Excursion give students access to online labs and experiments. Teacher professional development is offered through courses in the Future Classroom Lab.

Europeana API case studies, Ludovia2016 - #Europeana4Education

This project aims to develop new curriculums for optional STEM subjects that promote inquiry-based and project-based learning using ICT. Over the course of a year, the project will develop curriculums for Mathematics with ICT, Geography with ICT, and Informatics. It will train 48 teachers from 4 schools and facilitate 228 students taking the new optional subjects starting in 2016/2017. The goals are to improve STEM education outcomes, engage more students in STEM, and obtain equipment and resources to support the new curriculums.

Hungarian Innovative Schools and Projects of the Sulinet Program Office
Sulinet is a Hungarian program office that provides educational resources and support for schools. It launched the Sulinet Digital Knowledge Base in 2004 to host online teaching materials aligned with Hungary's National Core Curriculum. The program also supports 30 Innovative Schools that test modern technologies and participate in national and international projects. Sulinet coordinates several international projects focused on developing digital learning materials and runs the Sulinet Educational portal to provide pedagogical resources and support. Looking ahead, a new project called ESTER aims to have schools collaborate using the Digital Knowledge Base, EcoLog tools, and an online platform to create open educational resources.

Implementation of Training on RGPSA in Jharkhand STATE
Vidya Bharti presented their credentials and experience implementing training programs in various states like Gujarat and Jharkhand. They discussed their strategies for conducting training on the Rastriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGPSA) in Jharkhand which included identifying local trainers, designing training modules in Hindi, and using various teaching tools. They provided case studies of their successful RGPSA training in Gujarat and proposed similar strategies for Jharkhand with adaptations like the language used. Vidya Bharti also outlined some of their past projects in Jharkhand related to women empowerment and adolescent girls training.

It will establish a single online access point for students and provide resources to support digital pedagogy and curriculum development. The project consists of 6 work packages and 4 clusters that will experiment with the online hub's functionalities to support inter-university cooperation.

Ebbe Schultze has worked in education for over 30 years. He is currently the Chief Adviser at UNI-C, the Danish IT Centre for Education and Research. UNI-C provides IT services and support to Denmark's educational institutions. The Networked Open Polytechnic explores open models for vocational education. Wikiwijs, launched in 2009, aims to be a national platform for teachers to find, create and share OER across all educational sectors. While there is no overarching plan, these diverse but coordinated efforts demonstrate an emerging national OER strategy in the Netherlands.
Methodology of e learning
This document summarizes the development of an e-learning course on methodology of e-learning. The course was selected in September 2009 and revised in December 2009 and January 2010. It contains 5 units covering topics such as ICT and e-learning, course authoring, methodology, learning management systems, and evaluation. The course content is being developed in Romanian and translated. It has been integrated into the Moodle learning management system hosted on the Tiraspol State University server. Next steps include finishing development, testing, revision, and deployment on the KTH learning management system to start the learning process.
