The document describes a blog management system developed in PHP and MySQL. It includes sections on introduction, abstract, admin and reader modules, objectives, requirements specification, use case diagram, class diagram, ER diagram, data flow diagram, implementation, system testing, project screens, and conclusion. The system was created to automate an existing manual blog management system and make it more efficient, error-free, secure and easy for users to manage blogs, content, views and other information. It has admin and reader modules, with admin able to add, edit and delete various elements and reader able to view blogs and comment.

 The "Blog Management System" has been developed to override the problems
prevailing in the practicing manual system. This software is supported to
eliminate and in some cases reduce the hardships faced by this existing system.
Moreover this system is designed for the particular need of the company to
carry out operations in a smooth and effective manner. The application is
reduced as much as possible to avoid errors while entering the data. It also
provides error message while entering invalid data. No formal knowledge is
needed for the user to use this system. Thus by this all it proves it is user-
friendly. Blog Management System , as described above, can lead to error free,
secure, reliable and fast management system. It can assist the user to
concentrate on their other activities rather to concentrate on the record
keeping. Thus it will help organization in better utilization of resources. Every
organization, whether big or small, has challenges to overcome and managing
the information of Idea, Blogs, Entries, Content, Views. Every Blog
Management System has different Blogs needs; therefore we design exclusive
employee management systems that are adapted to your managerial
requirements. This is designed to assist in strategic planning, and will help you
ensure that your organization is equipped with the right level of information
and details for your future goals. Also, for those busy executive who are always
on the go, our systems come with remote access features, which will allow you
to manage your workforce anytime, at all times. These systems will ultimately
allow you to better manage resources.
 In this project, we use PHP and MySQL database. It has two module i.e Admin
and Reader (user)

3. Abstract
 ‘Blog Management System’ is web based application which automate existing
manual system by the help of computerized equipments and full-fledge
computer software, fulfilling their requirements, so that their valuable
information can be stored for a long period with easy accessing and
manipulation of the same. The required software and hardware are easily
available and easy to work with.
 ‘Blog Management System’ can lead to error free, secure, reliable and fast
management system. It assist the user to concentrate on their other activities
rather concentrate on the record keeping. Thus it will help organization in
better utilization of resources. The organization can maintain computerized
records without redundant entries. That means that one need not be
distracted by information that not relevant, while being able to reach the
information.
 Blog Management System basically the web application which describes how
to manage good performance and better services for the clients.

4. Admin Module
 Admin will be the user of this project who can control the whole website.
Dashboard: In this section, admin can briefly view information about
categories, subcategories, Live Blogs, Trash blogs, registered sub-admin,
approved comments, unapproved comments and Total subscribers.
Sub-admins: In this section, admin can mange sub-
admins(Add/Update/Delete).
Category: In this section, admin can mange Category(Add/Update/Delete).
Sub Category: In this section, admin can mange sub-
category(Add/Update/Delete).
Posts(Blog): In this section, admin can mange Posts(Add/Update/Delete).
Pages: In this section, admin update the about us and contact us page.
Comments: In this section, admin can view the comments which is given by
readers and approve and unapproved those comments.
Subscribers: I this section, admin can view subscriber lists.
Website Setting: In this section, admin changes the setting of web site like
logos contents etc.
Admin can also recover their own password.

5. Reader/User Module
Home: In this section, user can view home page of website.
Visitor or Readers can visit the website and reads the blogs ,subscribe itself,
and also comment on the particular post.

6. Objectives
 The main objective of the Project on Blog Management System is to manage the details of Blogs,
Idea, Topic, Entries, Views. It manages all the information about Blogs, Content, Views, Blogs. The
project is totally built at administrative end and thus only the administrator is guaranteed the
access. The purpose of the project is to build an application program to reduce the manual work
for managing the Blogs, Idea, Content, Topic. It tracks all the details about the Topic, Entries,
Views.
 Functionalities provided by Blog Management System are as follows:
 Provides the searching facilities based on various factors. Such as Blogs, Topic,
 Entries, Views Blog Management System also manage the Content details online for Entries
 details, Views details, Blogs. It tracks all the information of Idea, Content, Entries etc

 A data flow diagram is graphical tool used to describe and analyze
movement of data through a system. These are the central tool and
the basis from which the other components are developed. The
transformation of data from input to output, through processed, may

flow diagrams show the actual implements and movement of data
between people, departments and workstations.

17. Implementation and
System Testing
 After all phase have been perfectly done, the system
will be implemented to the server and the system can
be used.

 The goal of the system testing process was to
determine all faults in our project .The program was
subjected to a set of test inputs and many explanations
were made and based on these explanations it will be
decided whether the program behaves as expected or
not. Our Project went through two levels of testing

 Our project is only a humble venture to satisfy the needs to manage their
project work. Several user friendly coding have also adopted. This package shall
prove to be a powerful package in satisfying all the requirements of the school.
The objective of software planning is to provide a frame work that enables the
manger to make reasonable estimates made within a limited time frame at the
beginning of the software project and should be updated regularly as the
project progresses.
