•BOS is a systematic and it is repeatable process which requires a great deal of creativity from librarians.
•The explanatory analysis and application of Blue Ocean strategy in USM Library was an effort to understand deeper the practice of Blue Ocean strategy.
•Librarians need a huge understanding of the concept before implementation and pre-planning implementation can be carried out. This is not an easy task. They have to go thorough discussion, brainstorming before implement the strategy.
