To create an announcement in myTUTor, instructors first access the Control Panel and click on Course Tools and then Announcements. They then click Create Announcement, add a subject, type the message, set display times, provide a course link if needed, and click Submit. The successful creation will be displayed, and a link can be added to the menu bar for easy access to all announcements.

Type the message of the announcement
Set the display times
If required, provide a course link > Click Browse and select where to link to

To see the announcement in the My Announcements module, click more announcements
To create a link to the announcements in the menu bar:
Click +
Click Create Tool Link

Provide a name for the link, e.g. Announcements
Click on the dropdown list
Select Announcements
Click the checkbox to make it available
Click Submit
