The black rhino lives in the savanna grasslands of Africa. It has three toes, two horns, and gray skin. It lives in groups and cares for its young for about 16 months. The rhino eats twigs and can run up to 25 miles, but has poor eyesight and cannot turn well due to its size and two horns. It faces threats from humans and lives in areas with only seasonal rainfall.
