ICT Strategy vs Governance Framework vs Enterprise ArchitectureSam Mandebvu
1) ICT strategic planning develops a business-aligned vision with quantifiable milestones to track progress. ICT governance manages risk and resources through a governance framework to provide business benefits.
2) Enterprise architecture provides an organization-wide view of ICT components across the business to implement the ICT strategy.
3) ICT strategy, governance, and enterprise architecture are interdependent and work together, like a ship's captain navigating with a map and rules. The captain steers the ship using the strategic plan while following governance frameworks.
This document discusses Cobit 2019 and typical pain points organizations experience with enterprise governance of IT. It outlines 11 design factors to consider when implementing Cobit 2019, such as understanding the enterprise goals, risk profile, current IT issues, threat landscape, compliance requirements, role of IT, sourcing model for IT, and technology adoption strategy. The document provides comparisons between Cobit 5 and Cobit 2019 and lists various Cobit 2019 focus areas.
Most businesses depend on a portfolio of technology solutions to operate and be successful every day. How do you know if you and your team are following best practice, or what the risks in your architectures might be? This session will show how the AWS Well-Architected framework provides prescriptive architectural advice, and how the AWS Well-Architected Tool allows you to measure and improve your technology portfolio. We will explain how other customers are using AWS Well-Architected in their business, and we’ll share insights into what we have learned from reviewing tens of thousands of architectures across Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, and Cost Optimization.
The document provides an overview of the ITIL 4 Foundation course mind map. It summarizes the key topics covered in the ITIL 4 Foundation certification including general management practices, service management practices, creating service value, the service relationship model, external factors, the service value system, the service value chain, service value streams, and the ITIL overview. It also includes an example case study of how ITIL principles could be applied at a car rental company.
The document discusses best practices for capturing data requirements for projects that are data-rich. It emphasizes the importance of taking a top-down requirements approach and maintaining traceability between requirements. While use cases are useful, they often do not fully capture data needs. The document advocates looking beyond immediate needs to plan for business intelligence by capturing additional relevant data elements upfront.
How to Move from Monitoring to Observability, On-Premises and in a Multi-Clou...Splunk
With the acceleration of customer and business demands, site reliability engineers and IT Ops analysts now require operational visibility into their entire architecture, something that traditional APM tools, dev logging tools, and SRE tools aren’t equipped to provide. Observability enables you to inspect and understand your IT stack on premises and in the cloud(s); It’s no longer about whether your system works (monitoring), but being able to task why it is not working? (Observability). This presentation will outline key steps to take to move from monitoring to observability.

ASL BiSL Foundation (formerly ASL Foundation) has managed ASL and BiSL’s key ideas for several years, and is now developing them further. In doing so, it is seeking to bring business and IT closer together. The supply of information – perhaps by its very nature – needs to take place via an integrated chain.
The document provides guidance on writing essays, including how to structure an essay with an introduction, body, and conclusion. It emphasizes the importance of developing a clear topic sentence for each paragraph that includes both a topic and controlling idea. Examples of effective topic sentences are provided, and the reader is given exercises to develop their own topic sentences.

Often the people providing the specifications for an information system have a poor understanding of the associated business operations, and therefore create something that causes lost productivity and dissatisfaction. This session shows how to remove these barriers, and take blame away from IT by referencing tools such as Business information Services Library (BiSL).

3. Push-factoren business information management <datum> <evenement> Applicatiebeheer professionaliseert Professioneel business information management Technisch beheer professionaliseert Toenemend belang adequate IV Hogere klanteisen, gebruikerswensen Outsourcing ICT
4. Drie beheerdomeinen <datum> <evenement> Technisch Beheer Applicatie- Beheer Businmess information managemetn Opdrachtnemer Opdrachtgever SLA’s Opdrachtnemer ITIL ASL BiSL Informatievoorziening Infrastructuur Applicaties
5. Inrichting business information management <datum> <evenement> Opdrachtnemer Business Information Management I nfrastructuur- services IT- Serviceteam Applicatie - services Opdrachtgever Business management Eind- gebruikers Contracten Gebruikersorganisatie
